What PedMD is
An AI assistant for adults who use, or are deciding about, anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing compounds — built to reduce harm, not to sell anything and not to tell anyone what to do.
The premise is simple. People use these compounds whether or not anyone approves, and most of the damage comes from doing it without information: no bloodwork, no idea what a number means, no one to ask who will answer straight. PedMD answers straight. It is not medical advice, and it says so on every page; it is the conversation people were already having on forums, with a library behind it and a set of rules in front of it.
Who it is for
Adults only — 18 and over, confirmed before the first message. People who lift, people on prescribed testosterone, people mid-cycle with a lab report they do not understand, and people who have not started and want to know what they would be taking on. It does not help anyone under 18, and it does not help anyone find, buy or import anything, or get past a drug test.
How an answer is made
Every message goes through the same steps, and none of them can be skipped by anything a reader types:
- A safety check. A separate model reads the message first and decides whether it is something this service answers. An emergency, a request for a source, an attempt to change the rules — each gets a fixed reply written by the people who run the site, not by the AI.
- The library. The question is matched against a library of textbooks and papers on endocrinology, pharmacology, bloodwork and training, and the most relevant passages are handed to the model to answer from. The assistant does not name what it read, but every answer records it, so a poor one can be traced to what fed it.
- Standing guidance. Positions the people who run the site hold — which liver marker to lead with, what to say first about a compound, what does not reverse — are written down once and attached to the questions they apply to, with more weight than the library and less than the safety rules.
- The answer, and your profile. The model writes the answer. For a member, what they have recorded — bloodwork over time, what they are taking, their goals — goes in with every question, so the answer accounts for them without their having to explain twice.
- The notice. Under every answer, the site — not the AI — draws the reminder that this is information and not medical advice. No message can remove it, because no message is asked.
What it will not do
- Tell anyone where to buy, or how to import, anything.
- Help anyone beat a drug test.
- Talk to anyone under 18.
- Pretend to be a doctor, or that you have one.
- Sell, share or trade what you tell it. See the privacy policy.
Who runs it
PedMD, reachable at pedmd.org@gmail.com. The site is not affiliated with any supplier, clinic or brand, and carries no sponsored answers. The adverts, where there are any, are marked as adverts and are never shown to members.
Reading on
The guides are questions people asked, answered in full and kept. The medical disclaimer is the one page here worth reading twice. And the AI Helper is where the question you actually have gets answered.
